Health and Trauma Life Coaching
In addition to traditional coaching, I specialize in healthcare and trauma life coaching, acting as your advocate in times of stress and illness. My experiences in Psychological First Aid (PFA) and Skills for Psychological Recovery (SPR) from the National Child Traumatic Stress Network and the National Centre for PTSD as well as the Canadian Red Cross, have provided me with complementary strategies to help clients deal with stress and trauma in their lives. The universal experience of the Covid-19 pandemic has encouraged all of us to re-evaluate our lives and revisit priorities. Now, more than ever, taking care of ourselves and those closest to us helps us become more buoyant (resilient) as we move forward into the future.
Using the Four Agreements and guided practice, including application and stress reduction techniques such as breathing and visualization, both the client and I are able to work towards building a more balanced lifestyle and vision for the future. I can help make sense of competing voices in your life and provide you with an unbiased ear . I am here to help support you as you face unknown challenges. You can get lost and consumed by trauma and I can help you find serenity and balance. |
